This year is the 29th Festival and 150 years since the Church and School in High Wych were founded. Over the years, the two-day Festival has developed into a popular event for both artists and visitors. It attracts a wide range of artists, both from the local area and from much further afield.
The Festival takes place in the small picturesque Hertfordshire village of High Wych, which is situated about 5 miles from Harlow, centred around the attractive Victorian church of St James and the adjoining primary school. It is a highlight in the life of the church and the village communties.
• This year the Festival will include:
• An art exhibition in the school hall with more than 200 paintings
• A wide range of craft stalls with demonstrations by craftsmen
• A giant secondhand bookstall and grand raffle
• A wonderful flower festival in the church
• Delicious homemade lunches and afternoon teas
• BBQ, Beer Tent, Funfair, Children's Activities and Face Painting
Everyone is welcome!
We do hope you will come and join us for our Festival. |
